Foods and drinks There are so many delicous, special foods in Hanoi, also many interesting ways to enjoy life in Hanoi. Foods and drinks are the soul of Hanoian, once you are in Hanoi, don't waste your life, try in enjoy vietnamese foods in the vietnamese way, you'll know it. The world of wonders.

Seafoods: There are hundred kinds of seafood which hard to translate in english, all of them are
fresh, dilicous and relativ cheap for western peoples.

PHO (One kind of Noodle): The proud of Hanoian, the most delicous, typical breakfast of Hanoian but you can also enjoy it at anytime in a day. It is made mainly from rice and beef.

Mussel: one of favourite foods in Hanoi, around Ho Tay Lake you can find a lot of good restaurant to taste it.

Coffe is one of the most favourite drinks in Vietnam, especial coffee with ice. The best coffe mark in VN is Trung Nguyen Coffee, just enter any Trung Nguyen Coffee Shop and call one ice coffe with milk ( Mot nau da), you will experience how delicous it is.


One view of Hanoi After a long time sleeping with the dogma of Marx, Vietnam now has been changing faster as a man could know. Every minutes there is somethings news, Hanoi changes everyday. Alot of High Building are rising besides many old houses. Hanoi now is total different. Its also hard for me after 3 years far from HN, in first few days in Hanoi I couldn't recognise how fast it has been changed.

But coming with the fast development Hanoi has to face with many problem, traffic jam, environment pollution, noise pollution, bad infrastructure, population boom and etc. For 5, 6 years ago the atmosphere in Hanoi was so much better, but now as I was going on Hanoi streets, it seemed like a cloud of dust surround me. Hanoi develop fast but it has to pay a countable price.

Lets take a tour to see the day life around Hanoi

Life in VN is total different from lifestyle in european countries. The peole live on the streets, every people go out for drinking, eating, no one stays at home except the old people. In european countries after a hard work day most people would choose to come back home and relax, in contrast most people in Hanoi would go out, meeting friends, chatting, drinking or just for going around.

The Hanoian now is getting richer, its not difficult to see many rich people in HN. Some are able to buy most luxus cars, they can even pay for 1 million VND for lunch, but there are still many poor people who can only earn less than 1 Million per month. Just a lunch of rich people. The distance between rich and poor people is becoming larger than ever which may lead to one unstable society in the future.

Some rare places which still preserve their beauties in Hanoi though of many changes despite of economic development.
